Omicron Omega chapter Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. awarded $12,000 in scholarships to 11 high school students and one college undergraduate student. A Bon Voyage Scholarship Reception in their honor was held at the Birmingham Public Library downtown on April 24.
